Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
CH Demand
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
This test consists of two checks.
1. Make sure there is no demand for Hot Water. Inspect the Indicator lever on the side of the Hot Water valve, at rest with no demand the lever should be in the A position.
Is the valve at rest with no Hot Water demand?
2. If the system is cold, place a demand for Heating and monitor the temperature of the circulation pipes to the cylinder.
Does the temperature of the pipes increase during a Heating only demand?
Note: If the system is already hot it may be difficult to gauge an increase in the pipe temperature, you will need to question the customer as to the symptoms of the fault.
