Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Set Multimeter to Continuity Set meter to measure Continuity
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Disconnect the ignition lead

Measurement:

Check the ignition lead for continuity and for any signs of damage.
Reconnect lead after test.
Note: The ignition lead runs from the lower of the two gas valves.
