Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove electrical connector to spark generator

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance across terminal 1 & 2 of the spark generator.
Expected resistance greater than 1 Mohm
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between terminal 1 and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 Mohm
Test 3:
Measure the resistance between terminal 2 and a suitable earth connection.
Expected resistance greater than 1 Mohm
