Set Appliance State:

Boiler Switch in Standby position
Central Heating switch in OFF (central) position
Turn Gas Control Knob to Pilot position
Central Heating switch in OFF (central) position
Turn Gas Control Knob to Pilot position
Gas On; Pilot On
Observation:
Hold in gas control knob whilst repeatedly pressing the Ignition button.
Does pilot ignite?
Does pilot ignite?
