Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Boiler On
SUMMER/WINTER switch set to the WINTER position
Make sure that room thermostat is calling for heat and timer/programmer is ON

Measurement:
Measure the DC voltage between diode D4 and diode D1 (ends near to capacitor C1) on distribution board.
NB: It is important that test is carried out at correct test points i.e. diode connections nearest the capacitor marked C1 (connections farthest from the front with the control panel down).

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
