Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove the Mains fuse from its holder

Measurement:

Measure the resistance across the fuse.
Expect short circuit (zero resistance).
