Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect lead from rectification electrode
and from "FLAME" on the PCB

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between the ends of the disconnected lead.
Resistance should be short circuit (zero resistance).
Inspect connectors and harness for good overall condition.
