Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove control box cover
Remove fuse F1 from PCB

Measurement:

Remove the fuse from the PCB and measure its resistance.
Expect a short circuit.
Refit the fuse after testing.
