Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off
Gas Off
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect violet leads from the modulating solenoid

Measurement:

Measure resistance across the exposed terminals of the solenoid.
Resistance should be approximately 125 Ohms.
