Set Appliance State:
CH Demand
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Purge Switch in NORMAL position
HW Switch in ON position
CH Switch in CH Continuous position
CH Potentiometer set to maximum
Attach a U-gauge to the gas valve outlet pressure test point
Purge Switch in NORMAL position
HW Switch in ON position
CH Switch in CH Continuous position
CH Potentiometer set to maximum
Attach a U-gauge to the gas valve outlet pressure test point
Gas On

Observation:
Allow the Burner to operate with a low gas output pressure of approximately 1.8 mb.
Does the Primary Heat Exchanger heat up correctly and do the radiators become warm?
Notes:
Ensure the Secondary Heat Exchanger has been heated to its required temperature so the PCB does not need to execute the boiler calorifier heat top up function.
HW Switch in ON position for this test.
When U-gauge is removed pressure test point should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
