Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect inline connector to flame rectification electrode
Remove connector from X501 on the PCB

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between the inline connector and the PCB connector on the detection lead.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Is the resistance measured as expected?
