Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off
Gas Off
CH Demand
Pre-heat switch OFF
Remove metal top cover from the diverter valve
Mains Power On

Observation:

Set CH switch ON while observing the diverter valve gearing.
Does the diverter valve motor across to the heating position?
