Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off
Gas Off
Room Thermostat calling (if fitted)
CH switch in OFF position
Gas On
Mains Power On

Observation:

Preheat switch ON.
Allow boiler to fire.
Does CH flow pipe get warm?
