Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off
Gas Off
CH Demand
Remove metal top cover from diverter valve
Pre-heat switch OFF
Gas On
Mains Power On

Observation:

Set CH switch ON while observing the diverter valve gearing.
Does the diverter valve motor towards heating position?
