Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
Gas Off
CH Demand
Pre-heat switch OFF
CH temperature set to maximum position
Attach U-gauge to burner pressure test point
CH temperature set to maximum position
Attach U-gauge to burner pressure test point
Gas On
Mains Power On
Measurement:
Allow burner to ignite and system to heat to a reasonable temperature.
Slowly turn down the CH temperature control while observing the U-gauge.
Does the burner pressure reduce as the temperature demand is met?
Notes:
It may be necessary to reduce the heating load by turning off some radiators to reduce the time taken for this test.
When U-gauge is removed pressure nipple should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
