Set Appliance State:

Remove the burner assembly from the appliance
Observation:
1. Visually inspect the top and bottom of the burner assembly for any restrictions, blockages or damage.
Is the burner in good condition throughout?
2. Also thoroughly check the white spark electrodes for cracks and damage to the electrode ceramics and good general condition, this inspection can be carried from the top of the heat exchanger as illustrated.
Check for correct spark gap, should be 4.5mm +/- 0.5mm between the electrodes.
Is the electrode assembly in good condition and the spark gap correct?
Notes:
1. Before reassembly a new burner gasket must be fitted.
2. If the electrode gasket is disturbed during this inspection, then a new electrode assembly must be fitted.
