Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect the harness from the bottom of the actuator
Remove diverter valve head by pressing the tab on LH side and turning actuator anticlockwise.

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between pins 2 and 6.
Expect either 6.6 kOhms or open circuit.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between pins 2 and 3.
Expect either 6.6 kOhms or open circuit.
Are the resistances measured as expected.
Note:
Numbers are printed on the diverter valve head.
