Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to AC Voltage 
CH Demand
Selector switch to heating
CH temperature selector to maximum
If fitted remove the link on the brown terminal strip across the red wire and the neutral terminal (blue wire) of the external controls block
CH temperature selector to maximum
If fitted remove the link on the brown terminal strip across the red wire and the neutral terminal (blue wire) of the external controls block

Measurement:
Measure voltage across brown terminal strip at the red wire and the neutral terminal (blue wire) of the external controls block. 45V AC should be measured.
Replace link (if fitted) after the test.
Replace link (if fitted) after the test.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
