Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Remove the connector from the main gas valve
Measurement:
Test 1
Measure the resistance across the bottom 2 pins (of the 5 pins) on the gas valve. Resistance approximately 900 Ohms.
Test 2
Measure the resistance across the top pin and the 3rd pin down (of the 5 pins) on the gas valve. Resistance approximately 6.5 kOhms.
Note:
Resistances should be within +/- 10%.
Measure the resistance across the bottom 2 pins (of the 5 pins) on the gas valve. Resistance approximately 900 Ohms.
Test 2
Measure the resistance across the top pin and the 3rd pin down (of the 5 pins) on the gas valve. Resistance approximately 6.5 kOhms.
Note:
Resistances should be within +/- 10%.
Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
