Measurement:
Check that the electrode is not bent or distorted.
If the electrode is true then the sense electrode
gap from the burner should be OK.
To fully check the electrode gap necessitates burner removal, then by applying a straight edge across the top of the burner box and measuring the gap between the straight edge and the electrode the correct gap can be ascertained.
The gap should be 25mm +2mm/- 2mm.
Refit electrode after test.
