Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to AC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Set flow rate to 2.8 litres a minute
Selector Switch in Hot Water Position
Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)

Gain access to PCB (use insulation mat as necessary)

Measurement:
Measure for mains voltage between the brown wire marked 3
and the blue wire marked 1 on connector X3 at the PCB.
