Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove electrode leads from spark generator

Measurement:

Inspect the leads for signs of damage or shorting and check for continuity (zero resistance) across of each of the ignition leads.
