Set Appliance State:
Mains Power Off
CH Demand
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Selector Switch in Hot Water Position

Observation:
Test 1: Once the pump begins to run visually inspect the pump proving spindle, does the spindle extend smoothly to its full extended position within 1 second of the pump starting to run?
Mains Power OFF
The spindle should move back to its fully retracted
position within 1 second of the pump stopping.
Test 2: Turn Selector switch to Heating & Hot Water.
Turn Hot Tap OFF. Mains Power ON
With a CH demand does the spindle still
extend within 1 second of the pump starting?
Mains Power OFF
Does the spindle still retract within 1
second of the pump stopping?
Mains Power OFF
The spindle should move back to its fully retracted
position within 1 second of the pump stopping.
Test 2: Turn Selector switch to Heating & Hot Water.
Turn Hot Tap OFF. Mains Power ON
With a CH demand does the spindle still
extend within 1 second of the pump starting?
Mains Power OFF
Does the spindle still retract within 1
second of the pump stopping?
