Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Selector Switch OFF
Gas On; Pilot on
Gas Control Knob in Main burner position
Gas off to Extinguish Pilot

Observation:

Within a period of one minute from the pilot being extinguished, a click should be heard as the flame failure device in the Gas Valve trips out.
Note:
This test is only to check the functionality of the mag valve.
