Set Appliance State:

Gas Off
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Selector Switch OFF
Gas Control Knob fully depressed in Pilot Position
Gas On

Observation:

Whilst holding in the Gas Control Knob, repeatedly press the Ignition Button.
Does Pilot ignite?
