Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
CH Demand
Attach a U-gauge to the gas valve burner pressure test point
CH potentiometer set to mid-position
All radiators turned on
CH potentiometer set to mid-position
All radiators turned on
| WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Observation:
Allow boiler to ignite, burner pressure to ramp up and start to heat system.
Turn off some of the radiators to reduce heating load.
Does the burner pressure reduce as the heating demand is met?
Notes:
1. The appliance is of a fully modulating design. If the heating demand is satisfied at minimum gas rate then the burner pressure will not ramp up and modulation will not take place.
2. When U-gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
