Set Appliance State:
On/Off Switch OFF
Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the transformer from the control box
Remove the transformer from the control box
Measurement:
Measure the resistance across the two pairs of adjacent pins.
Resistance across one set of pins should be approximately 100 ohms and across the other set approximately 2 ohms.
Note:
Allowances should be made in resistance readings if fused leads are being used.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
