Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove control knob from the front of the boiler

Observation:

Check control knob fits into PCB and moves the potentiometer behind it.
It can snap off behind so it’s not actually moving the potentiometer.
