Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove spark electrode leads from electrodes and PCB

Measurement:

Test for continuity of the leads from one end to the other checking both leads for continuity.
