Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove red wires from CH sensor
Remove red wires from CH sensor
Measurement:
Measure resistance across sensor terminals.
The resistance depends on temperature and should conform to the table below:

and refit as necessary
