Set Appliance State:
Set Multimeter to DC Volts 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove connector (blue wires) from modulating solenoid
(Removal of air pressure switch bracket will aid access)
Set boiler to MAX output setting using the gas valve mode switch
Remove connector (blue wires) from modulating solenoid
(Removal of air pressure switch bracket will aid access)
Set boiler to MAX output setting using the gas valve mode switch
| WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure |
Measurement:
Allow boiler to ignite and run for at least 4 seconds.
Measure voltage at disconnected connector.
Note:
Remember to set the boiler back to normal mode via the gas valve mode switch.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
