Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Measurement:
Ensure all system checks are carried out:
System/boiler is correctly charged as necessary.
System/boiler is bled of air.
Gas inlet pressure is correct.
Bypass (internal or external to the boiler) is correctly adjusted as necessary.
Ensure sufficient water supply to appliance.
Ensure any manual reset devices are reset.
Note:
There are two types of lockout - one can be reset by turning the mains power OFF and ON again, the other has to be reset by depressing the reset button for at least 1 second with the mains power and the boiler ON /OFF switch on.
