Set Appliance State:
CH Demand
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
CH temperature selector to Maximum
Attach a U-gauge to gas valve outlet pressure test point
Heating system should be cool
Boiler ON/OFF Switch ON
CH temperature selector to Maximum
Attach a U-gauge to gas valve outlet pressure test point
Heating system should be cool
Boiler ON/OFF Switch ON

Measurement:
Allow boiler to commence its ignition sequence and the burner to ignite.
Does burner ignite and run at 1.8mb for 2 minutes, then does the burner pressure ramp up over 1 minute to its set pressure?
Notes:
The boiler is fully modulating and pressure ramp up will only take place if the system is cold and does not reach a satisfactory temperature in the initial 2 minutes.
If system temperature rise is satisfactory, no increase in burner pressure should be considered normal operation.
When U-gauge is removed pressure test point should be tightened & checked for gas soundness.
