DHW FAN RUNS

Set Appliance State:

Mains Power Off

Gas Off

Set Multimeter to AC Volts

Turn Hot Water Tap On

Selector switch to WATER
Position probes onto orange and brown wires on fan

WARNING! Mains voltage is expected during test, follow TOPs P4 live testing procedure

Mains Power On

Observation:

Does fan start at high speed with mains voltage for 2 seconds then drop to low speed with a voltage of approximately 170volts and continue to run?

Note:
It is important that the gas to the appliance is turned off for this test
to ensure the boiler does not ignite.
It may be necessary to repeat this test as once boiler has failed to ignite it will lockout and run on low speed until appliance is switched off and back on.
