Set Appliance State:

Remove burner assembly
Observation:
Visually inspect the internal part of the spark electrode ensuring it is straight and true and in line with the end of the external half of the spark electrode inspected earlier.
The spark gap should be 3-3.5mm (about a pound coin).
Is the internal half of the spark electrode in good condition?
If the internal part of the spark electrode is in good condition do not refit the burner at this stage.
Note:
Before the burner is refitted and the appliance left in operation the gasket MUST be replaced.

and refit as necessary
