Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove flame detection electrode from its housing

Measurement:

Thoroughly check the electrode lead for signs of damage, carry out a resistance check on the lead.
Expected reading is 1 KOhm.
