Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove wires from terminals 3 and 5 on timer and make safe
Timer set to ON
WARNING! - Mains voltage is expected during test follow
TOPs P4 live testing procedure
Mains Power On

Measurement:

Measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 5 on the integral timer.
Expect continuity / zero resistance.
Is the resistance measured as expected?
Note:
If resistance is as expected do not refit wires to terminal 3 and 5 on the timer.
