Set Appliance State:

Gain access to PCB and all wiring connections
Observation:
Inspect for water ingress at;
PCB
All PCB wiring connections
Interconnecting plugs
Confirm all wiring connections, interconnecting plugs are dry and connected tightly.
Note:
Strange faults where the fan will not start intermittently or the air-pressure switch goes open circuit during a demand, or the boiler may show an overheat fault but checks on the overheat stats prove the stats are giving continuity through the terminals. All the wiring connected to these components passes through a multiplug connection located on the left-hand side of the base of the combustion chamber. occasionally, a poor connection and/or water ingress at this interconnecting plug, especially as the appliance starts to heat up: this can result in strange or intermittent faults.
