Set Appliance State:
| Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4 |
Ensure boiler is cool
Drain primary system water from boiler
Remove casing cover for internal by-pass
Remove the by-pass valve from the housing
Drain primary system water from boiler
Remove casing cover for internal by-pass
Remove the by-pass valve from the housing
Observation:
Inspect the by-pass valve for correct operation and good general condition (no blockages or damage).
Press the inside of the valve gently with a screwdriver to check the spring pressure and that the valve can move, also check that it re seats correctly.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
