Set Appliance State:

Turn Hot Water Tap On
Remove electrode lead from spark generator & make safe
Do not touch any part of the appliance during this test

Observation:
Reset the boiler / cancel pump purge as necessary.
Allow ignition sequence to commence.
Sparking should occur 5 times as the appliance attempts to ignite (sparking for 8 seconds at a time with 3 second intervals).
