Set Appliance State:

Gain access to PCB (use Insulation Mat as required)
Position all 3 control knobs so the line on the knob aligns with the CH, DHW and Power symbols as shown

Observation:
Visually inspect the potentiometers on the PCB as highlighted.
Each of the 3 potentiometers has a small notch on the inner white part that rotates (indicated with the red arrow), these should point approximately to the front of the appliance as shown for all three potentiometers.
