Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance

Measurement:

Remove spark electrode lead, inspect leads for damage and signs of shorting.
Check for continuity/resistance across the lead.
