Set Appliance State:
CH Demand
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
On/Off Switch in ON position
Mode Selector Switch to Constant
Heating Thermostat to MAX
Connect a U - Gauge to the Gas Valve outlet pressure point
On/Off Switch in ON position
Mode Selector Switch to Constant
Heating Thermostat to MAX
Connect a U - Gauge to the Gas Valve outlet pressure point

Measurement:
With the boiler alight for approximately one minute, very slowly turn the Heating Thermostat to minimum.
Does the burner flame reduce to low rate before going out?
NOTE:
It may be necessary to turn off some radiators for this test. This will allow the boiler to reach modulating temperature more quickly and speed up the testing.
When pressure gauge is removed the pressure test point should be tightened and checked for gas tightness.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
