Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4

Observation:

Turn ON the HW tap.
Does Diverter Valve spindle operate the DHW microswitches?
Turn OFF the HW tap.
Does Diverter Valve spindle release the DHW microswitches and fully retreat back inside the valve?
