Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Disconnect the electrical connector from the gas valve

Measurement:

Test 1:
Measure the resistance between pin 1 and
pin 2 on the gas valve (top 2 pins)
Expected resistance approximately 14 Ohms.
Test 2:
Measure the resistance between pin 3 and
pin 4 on the gas valve (bottom 2 pins)
Expected resistance approximately 20 Ohms.
Note.
The pins on the gas valve are numbered.
