Observation:
When 240V external control devices are connected to the 'Enable' terminals, a bridge wire (link) should also be connected across the 'OT' terminals.
When the bridge wire (link) is connected across the 'OT' terminals the appliance will start and continue to run in CH mode (after the 4 minute pump purge has completed) even if there is no call for heat, this will continue until a signal is received to switch the appliance off from an external 240V device - i.e. Turn room stat down.
If the room stat is already turned down you will need to turn it up then down again to turn the heating off.
Once the external control device (i.e. room stat) is turned back up to call for heat there will be a delay of approximately 3 mins before the appliance fires for CH again.
Note.
If the power to the appliance is interrupted, the status of the CH input will be reset to the factory setting (= enabled) meaning the above scenario will be repeated - i.e. appliance will fire for CH after the 4 minute purge has completed regardless whether there is a call for heat.
