Set Appliance State:

Set Multimeter to Resistance 
Disconnect connector from X22 on the PCB
Measurement:
Measure resistance across the two blue leads at the disconnected connector, and the approximate temperature at the sensors location.
Note:
Ensure the sensor is correctly fitted to the pipe.
The resistance will vary according the boiler temperature but should conform to the table below at the appropriate temperature to ensure it is within range and in calibration:
