Set Appliance State:

Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Set Multimeter to Resistance Set meter to measure resistance
Remove fuse from holder

Measurement:

Measure resistance of the fuse for the live into the appliance usually located in the fused spur.
Replace fuse after test.
