Set Appliance State:

Observation:
There are 2 types of burner.
Visually inspect the burner.
If the appliance has the original style burner ensure the white burner gauze seal is correctly sealing the gauze to the metal, check the metal outer structure is free from small cracks and also that the burner gauze is clean and not ripped.
If the appliance has a new style burner ensure it is clean / unrestricted and is free from any cracks.
Is the burner satisfactory?

Burners are shown removed for clarity but test can be carried out with them in situ.
