Set Appliance State:
Set Multimeter to mVolts DC 
Turn Hot Water Tap On
Isolate Mains Power to appliance as per TOPs P4
Remove the main control box cover to expose the control PCB
Disconnect flame sense electrode lead from connection marked 'FLAME TCI' on the control board
Remove the main control box cover to expose the control PCB
Disconnect flame sense electrode lead from connection marked 'FLAME TCI' on the control board

Measurement:
Reset lockout as necessary.
Allow fan to run and burner to ignite.
Measure millivolts DC voltage across the end of the flame sense lead and a suitable earth point.
Does the multimeter show a DC millivoltage greater than 100 when burner is alight?
Note:
Burner will only be alight for approximately 3 seconds as it will not prove.
Allow fan to run and burner to ignite.

Isolate as per TOPs P4
and refit as necessary
